Our Mission
Founded in 1946, Fight for Sight’s (FFS) mission is to identify, support and inspire eye and vision research by funding promising scientists early in their careers.
During the past seven decades, this mission has translated into more than $21 million in grants to young researchers. We are the only organization committed to nurturing young talent before they are eligible for support from most other funding sources.
